Bitskwela is thrilled to announce a strategic partnership with the Aptos Foundation, the team dedicated to cultivating the Aptos ecosystem. With support from the Aptos Foundation, the Bitskwela team will help educate Filipino users about the different applications of the Aptos ecosystem. 

Aptos is a next-generation layer 1 blockchain with a focus on scalability and security. It operates on a Proof-of-Stake consensus mechanism and leverages Move, a programming language designed for writing secure smart contracts. Despite being a relatively new blockchain, Aptos has had amazing adoption since launching in 2022— reaching more than 250+ projects building on the blockchain to date, DeFi total value locked (TVL) up 376% in the first quarter of 2024, and broke a layer 1 industry record on May 25 for the most daily transactions (182M/day).
