In his final remarks at the ABS Summit in Taipei, Catizen CEO David Mak, alongside TON Foundation Chairman Steve Yun and TONX co-founder Wego, announced that Catizen is poised for a transformative shift, with the mini game center set to go live shortly.

The Catizen Game Center will gradually launch 18 popular games outlined in its roadmap, with an upgraded Catizen Gaming Bot transitioning to the new platform. This strategic move is expected to enhance Catizen’s playability, expand its gaming ecosystem, and strengthen its commercialization efforts. Instead of developing a new Telegram Mini Game from scratch, the Game Center will feature a selection of well-established game applications that have attracted nearly one million users on the Web2 platform and have undergone optimization. This integration will create a powerful synergy between Web2 and Web3 mini-game models within the Catizen ecosystem.

David Mak, CEO of Catizen, stated that given the 30% conversion rate of mini program users within the WeChat ecosystem, and considering that Telegram has 900 million monthly active users, it is likely that the number of active users for mini programs will exceed 300 million in the future. He emphasized that the Catizen Game Center is prepared to welcome this influx and, as a leader in the industry, aims to establish a new territory for GameFi in the Web3 landscape.

Further, Wego, co-founder of TONX, remarked that Catizen is among the most successful gaming applications within the TON ecosystem. He noted that the introduction of the Game Center is expected to bring substantial changes to the gaming landscape across the entire TON ecosystem. Wego praised the Catizen team for their leadership in advancing the gaming sector of the TON ecosystem, expressing their honor in witnessing Catizen’s transition from a gaming bot to a Mini Game Center during the ABS Conference.
