The Ethereum community is eagerly anticipating the upcoming "Road to Devcon Philippines goes to Cebu" event, organized by ETH63. Scheduled to take place in Cebu City on July 6, 2024, at the prestigious venue, Enspace Cebu, this event promises a day filled with insightful workshops and discussions.

Co-hosted by the staking protocol Lido and supported by the Ethereum Foundation’s Road to Devcon 2024, the event is set to bring together like-minded individuals from the Ethereum community. With an array of guest speakers covering various topics such as staking solutions, Ethereum ethos, and practices in the blockchain space, as well as opportunities to connect with local developers, builders, and enthusiasts, this event is poised to be an enriching experience for all participants.

Activities and Speakers

The event will feature a morning session tailored for developers, including workshops by Christine Erispe, an ETH63 Core Member, and Homestaking presented by Sam from Stakesaurus/Lido. 

The afternoon session is designed for retail business people and newcomers, featuring keynote messages by Paolo Dioquino and Luis Buenaventura, both ETH63 Core Members, as well as a panel discussion with notable figures from LIDO and the Ethereum Foundation.

ETH63, the local Ethereum community in the Philippines, has successfully organized previous events in Metro Manila, such as the Ethereum Meetup Manila on February 24, 2024, and the Intro to Devcon event on April 24, 2024.

Moreover, the recent Ethereum Meetup Manila 2024, organized by ETH63 and supported by the Ethereum Foundation's Road To DevCon initiative, successfully concluded, further raising awareness of Ethereum within the local community through discussions and presentations exploring the network's impact on technology and finance.
