The event kicked off at 1:00 PM with a warm welcome from Tangos National High School’s principal, Mr. Gil C. Buenavista, who emphasized the importance of preparing students for the future. He encouraged participants to explore how blockchain could revolutionize industries and open doors to new careers.
The highlight of the day was the engaging talk by Jiro Reyes, the CEO of Bitskwela, who gave an insightful session on “Blockchain and Cryptocurrency Basics.” Breaking down complex topics into easy-to-understand concepts, Jiro empowered attendees to think critically about blockchain’s potential as a transformative tool in society.
Exploring Blockchain Gaming and Crypto Careers
Gaming enthusiasts were thrilled with Gunlocked’s discussion on "Blockchain Gaming," where they showcased how blockchain technology is reshaping the gaming industry. By introducing concepts like play-to-earn and asset ownership, the session inspired students to imagine a future where games are more than just entertainment — they are economic ecosystems.
The spotlight then returned to Jiro Reyes, who hosted an Interactive Game designed to reinforce blockchain concepts in a fun and memorable way. This hands-on approach captured the attention of participants, making technical concepts accessible and exciting.
