Recognized by the Financial Times as one of the World’s Top 20 Legal Leaders, Ng has received numerous accolades for his work as General Counsel, including the FT’s Innovative Lawyer Award. Before joining Bitget, he served as General Counsel and Head of Government Affairs & Policy at Binance, where he played a pivotal role in enhancing licensing and compliance efforts and collaborating with regulators globally, including in the U.S.
At Binance, Hon Ng was instrumental in creating a distinguished Global Advisory Committee, comprising top experts from traditional finance and former legislators. His contributions during this period revolutionized the industry's approach to compliance and know-your-client (KYC) protocols. Prior to his role at Binance, Ng was key in helping Uber transition from a startup to a publicly traded global technology powerhouse on the New York Stock Exchange.

He also played a key role in the $465 million sale of a 51% stake in Lion City Rentals and the $2 billion merger of Uber’s Southeast Asian business with Grab.
