Anyone involved or starting to get involved in the blockchain space will inevitably encounter this common problem: managing transactions across different networks can be so complicated and exhausting. Each blockchain typically requires a separate account, and managing all these accounts involves juggling different interfaces, security protocols, and transaction processes. With so much of the work fragmented into isolated steps, monitoring and executing transactions through blockchain technology is prone to errors. So, even though it's always wise to diversify your crypto portfolio as much as you can, the sad reality is that attempting to store many different assets across multiple networks may simply be too inefficient for the average user. Thankfully, we’re beginning to see new, interoperability-focused solutions to this problem. One of these is InvArch Network, a parachain in the Polkadot ecosystem designed for decentralized operations and financial management. Launched on October 24, 2023, InvArch Network has quickly proven to be a game-changer in the Polkadot ecosystem. As a Multichain Account abstraction hub, InvArch offers a unified solution for individuals, organizations, and decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs), allowing them to manage assets and execute transactions efficiently across any network.

However, it's important to note that InvArch operates as a multisig solution on top of existing wallets rather than replacing them. Users still need the corresponding wallets to sign transactions, adding an extra layer of security and functionality. While there are already multichain wallets available, InvArch differentiates itself by offering multichain multisig capabilities, which are particularly useful for managing assets that require multiple approvals. This setup not only enhances security but also facilitates more coordinated and error-free transaction management. By integrating these features, InvArch addresses the complexities of multichain asset management, making it easier for users to handle diverse portfolios across different networks efficiently and securely.

Core Features of InvArch

  • Dynamic Multisig Accounts
Through Saturn, InvArch offers a dynamic multi-signature solution for creating treasury and sub-treasury systems with customizable rules, roles, and permissions tailored to the needs of DAOs and SubDAOs.
  • DAO Staking and Crowdfunding
InvArch supports DAO staking and crowdfunding to help DAOs raise funds and incentivize participation. DAOs can define custom rules for staking and crowdfunding or use predefined frameworks provided by InvArch.
  • Intellectual Property Primitives
InvArch facilitates the management and monetization of intellectual property (IP).
  • Multichain Interoperability
DAOs on InvArch can easily connect with decentralized identity (DID) solutions and virtual machines on external blockchains.
  • Off-Chain Integrations
InvArch enables trustless integration with Web2 services and communication tools, allowing DAOs to bridge the gap between traditional and decentralized applications.
  • Flexible Governance Frameworks
DAOs on InvArch can either define custom governance rules and permissions or deploy predefined frameworks.
  • Gasless Transactions for DAOs
By bonding VARCH tokens, DAOs can unlock gasless operational transactions, such as voting, for their members.

Technical Stack and Ecosystem

The InvArch Network's technology stack is a robust and multi-layered architecture. It consists of four key layers:

  1. Smart Contracts
  2. NFTs, Member Roles and Permissions, Off-chain Signing, and Multichain Multisigs
  3. InvArch, and
  4. Polkadot

This intricate system ensures efficiency in interactions, enhanced security, effective management, and interoperability across different blockchain ecosystems.

Smart Contracts

Smart contracts form the first layer of the InvArch Network's technical stack. These self-executing contracts, with the terms of the agreement directly written into code, facilitate automated, transparent, and tamper-proof interactions across the network. Smart contracts on InvArch can define and enforce governance rules, business logic, and financial automation. InvArch also supports Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) compatibility, so the ecosystem can smoothly interact with Ethereum-based smart contracts.

NFTs, Member Roles and Permissions, Off-chain Signing, and Multichain Multisigs

This layer focuses on enhancing security, management, and flexibility within the InvArch ecosystem. Firstly, InvArch introduces intellectual property management by making it easy for users to tokenize and manage digital assets. InvArch ensures their authenticity and facilitates cross-chain transactions involving those assets. Secondly, The network's Saturn Multisig protocol can allow KYC solutions and dynamic voting for a DAO’s or SubDAO’s members. Thirdly, off-chain signing enhances transaction efficiency by allowing certain operations to be conducted off-chain and later verified on-chain. This reduces the burden on the network and improves transaction speeds. Lastly, multichain multisignature accounts streamline the process of managing assets across multiple blockchains, making portfolio management more coordinated, secure, and definitely much less complicated.

InvArch

The third layer is InvArch itself, which, as mentioned previously, provides the infrastructure and features necessary for decentralized operations and financial management. It is the core of the network, offering various tools and services for decentralized operations and financial management.

Polkadot

The last layer, Polkadot, is the foundation that connects and supports the InvArch network. It provides cross-consensus messaging (XCM), relay chain security, scalability, and ecosystem integration. XCM makes interoperability and communication between different blockchains within the Polkadot ecosystem possible. This allows InvArch to interact with other parachains and dApps on external networks and easily collaborate with other projects. Polkadot’s relay chain also provides shared security for all connected parachains, including InvArch.

The VARCH Token

VARCH is the network’s native token and the cornerstone of the InvArch Network's economy.

Account Operations

VARCH tokens are required to create and deploy both multisig and DAO accounts on the InvArch Network. These tokens are also used to cover transaction fees associated with account management and governance operations. Additionally, VARCH provides seamless cross-chain operability by serving as a universal payment asset for conducting transactions on external networks using InvArch's omnichain accounts.

DAO Funding and Staking

One of the VARCH token's primary utilities is DAO staking and farming. By locking VARCH tokens, users can earn staking rewards, which can then be redirected toward supporting DAOs in exchange for rewards or benefits offered by those DAOs.

Smart Contract Deployment

VARCH tokens are crucial for deploying and executing smart contracts on the InvArch Network. The InvArch EVM (and eventually the Polkadot Virtual Machine or PVM) allows users to utilize VARCH to cover deployment costs and transaction fees generated by smart contract interactions.

Gas Subscriptions

To facilitate gasless transactions for multisigs and DAOs, VARCH can be used to purchase monthly and annual subscription packages. These packages are tiered to accommodate organizations of varying sizes and cover networks of specific interest.

Network Governance

VARCH tokens play a pivotal role in the governance of the InvArch Network. They are used as deposits for submitting proposals within the network's governance system. Token holders can also lock VARCH for the chance to vote on these proposals and increase their voting power.  This allows stakeholders to have a direct influence on the future direction and policies of the network.

With its many benefits and features for DAOs and multi-chain operations, the InvArch Network is a good entry point for users who want to explore the custodial solutions in Web3. It has a solid technical foundation, practical token utility, and strong community support. InvArch’s goal is to empower the DAO economy through its layer 1 ecosystem and eventually offer users the convenience of having the first and only account they’ll ever need to control all their assets.
