The Web3 Edutech company Bitskwela will help Polkadot breakthrough the Philippine market through interoperability education and marketing, in partnership with Filipino KOLs and communities.

Bitskwela joins forces with Polkadot as the Philippine representative to bring blockchain and interoperability education to the Philippines, fostering further Web3 adoption. Efforts for 2024 will be in partnership with Polkadot Insider.

Through the partnership, the Web3 edutech company Bitskwela will work with Polkadot to bring interoperability education to the Philippines through Bitskwela's partner Filipino KOLs, Web3 communities, and student organizations. The educational campaigns of Bitskwela will have a key focus on fundamental components of Polkadot's interoperability, modularity, and blockchain security to help more Filipinos own a piece of the internet.

According to Bitskwela CEO Jiro Reyes, Polkadot is the first blockchain protocol to launch an education initiative in the Philippines, in partnership with Bitskwela. Reyes also added that:

"Bitskwela's mission to help Filipinos own a piece of the internet progresses another step through this partnership with Polkadot. Our goal is to help Filipinos understand the use case of these different blockchains and cryptocurrencies so they can be part of their day-to-day life and transactions. It is an honor for Bitskwela to introduce Polkadot to the Philippine market through our educational materials and community activations."

JC Macalintal, the Chief Marketing Officer of Bitskwela, also believes that the partnership with Polkadot will help the Philippines in its positioning for blockchain and Web3 activations.

"We've been working diligently to secure blockchain partnerships like this at Bitskwela since the past years. We understand that official engagements like these impact at scale, and Filipinos have been made aware about crypto and Web3 in the past market cycle due to play-and-earn. Now, it's time for Filipinos to explore Web3 further, starting with the fundamentals of blockchain interoperability. We're hopeful that this partnership will drive awareness and encouragement towards blockchain interoperability, and stimulate authentic local interest," adds JC Macalintal.

"Nearly 7 million Filipinos, that's around 6% of the total population, own cryptocurrency. We have a lot of cryptocurrency traders in the Philippines, but the know-hows about various blockchain architectures (for distributed ledger technologies) is still not that deep,' states Vince Edralin, the Chief Operating Officer of Bitskwela.

The partnership will be mobilized this 2024, starting with Bitskwela's launch of a user-friendly interface that breaks down the entire Polkadot whitepaper into a 5-minute read. Bullish.
