Mark your calendars for the Solana Radar Hackathon, presented by Colosseum, from September 2 to October 8. Seeking the next wave of 10x builders, innovative founders, and standout projects on Solana. Don't miss this chance to shape the future.

This hackathon presents an impressive prize pool of $2 million to $3 million+, complemented by acceleration programs and investment opportunities. Participants can engage in various tracks, including BLinks, Token Extensions, ZK Compressions, DePIN, Gaming, DeFi, Payments & Wallets, Infrastructure & Toolings, DAOs & Communities, and Public Goods. It's an exceptional platform for innovators to push the boundaries of technology and make significant impacts in their chosen fields.

Hundreds of startups have emerged from these programs, collectively raising over $600 million. It's your chance to make a mark. Last spring, from March 4 to April 8, the Colosseum hosted the Solana Renaissance, attracting over 8,300 participants and receiving 1,071 final project submissions. The event featured more than 60 judges and partnered with industry giants like Symmetry, Phantom, IOnet, Pyth Network, Orca, Solana Mobile, Squads, and Brave, with the Solana Foundation as a key sponsor.

Solana x AI Consumer Hack

The Solana x AI Consumer Hack, co-organized by AI Gen Cebu and Superteam Philippines, is a six-week hackathon focused on integrating AI projects with the Solana blockchain. This event encourages AI and Web3 enthusiasts to submit their projects for possible grants and investments from Solana's network.

The registration period runs from August 10 to September 12, 2024, with submissions due by the latter date. The hackathon boasts a prize pool of 2,500 $USDC, with the first prize winner receiving 1,500 $USDC and a coveted membership in Superteam Philippines. Second and third place winners will earn 500 $USDC and 300 $USDC, respectively. Additionally, two special awards of 100 $USDC each will be given for outstanding projects. It's a prime opportunity for innovators with a working prototype or MVP to gain recognition and rewards.

Paypal x PaypalUSD Hackathon

PayPal has announced that PYUSD is now live on Solana, ushering in a new era of opportunity and adoption for stablecoin payments. In an exciting development, PayPal, in collaboration with Portal, has launched the first Global PYUSD Portal Hackathon, built on Solana.

This global virtual hackathon kicks off on August 12, 2024, and runs until September 16, 2024. Participants will compete for a share of the 40,000 PYUSD prize pool, with winners being showcased at the prestigious Solana Hacker House in Hong Kong from October 24-26, 2024. Additionally, participants are encouraged to continue their innovation journey by entering their projects into the Solana RADAR Hackathon, powered by Colosseum, for even more prizes.

Why Build with PYUSD on Solana?

Building with PYUSD on Solana represents a significant leap forward in digital payments. The launch aims to position PYUSD as the preferred stablecoin, leveraging Solana's capabilities for quick, secure, and cost-effective transactions. For merchants and retail users, Solana unlocks innovative features such as Confidential Transfers for privacy, Transfer Hooks for customizable token transfers, and Memo Fields for adding information to transactions. These features mirror the customization and ease-of-use today's web2 financial services offer, making PYUSD on Solana a compelling choice.

Solana x Bitget Hackathon

The Solana x Bitget Hackathon in Vietnam, led by Bitget, a top cryptocurrency exchange, has captivated Web3 developers. Collaborating with Superteam Vietnam, Bitget Wallet, and Solana, the event featured three workshops in August, attracting hundreds of participants. Instructors from Bitget and Superteam guided startups in navigating Solana's ecosystem and integrating Bitget Wallet for Dapps. Since July, Bitget Wallet's user base has grown to 30 million, outpacing other decentralized wallets.

Developers are invited to participate in the Solana x Bitget Hackathon, with registration and submissions accepted from August 17 to September 7. A $30,000 prize pool awaits those who can craft standout dApps and projects on Solana, featuring integration with the Bitget Web3 Wallet. This event is a prime opportunity for innovators to demonstrate their expertise and gain recognition in the rapidly evolving Web3 landscape.

To participate in the program, startups are required to create a practical DeFi or emerging tech application on the Solana blockchain, incorporating Bitget Wallet integration in wallet extensions. Projects must already be established on Solana with Bitget Wallet integration. Eligible startups should originate from Superteam Vietnam, Malaysia, Japan, or the Philippines and be in the Pre-seed or Seed phase. This opportunity is designed to empower early-stage ventures to present their innovations and make a mark in the burgeoning Web3 space.

PGDX Solana x YGG GameJam

The Philippine GameDev Expo (PGDX), the country's largest gathering for game developers, is scheduled for July 26 to 28, 2024, at the SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia. Presented by Smart Communications, this year's event is set to be a highlight for the gaming community. 

Superteam Philippines and Yield Guild Games (YGG) have partnered with PGDX to encourage indie game developers to transition their games on-chain to Solana. This bounty provides a unique opportunity for developers to showcase their games for potential blockchain integration, with prospects for grants and investments from leading Web3 Gaming VCs connected to Solana and YGG.

Eligible participants for this exciting venture include game developers and studios with a demonstrable working prototype, MVP, or published game. Candidates should be enthusiastic about incorporating Web3 or blockchain features into their creations. This initiative seeks to empower developers eager to explore the potential of blockchain technology, providing a platform for innovation and collaboration with top-tier industry leaders.

Reward Pool:

A total prize pool of $4,000 USDC is up for grabs, comprising $3,000 USDC and $1,000 USD in $YGG tokens for the top participants. 

The First Prize winner will receive $1,000 USDC, $500 USD worth of $YGG, and a membership in Superteam Philippines. 

The Second Prize includes $500 USDC, $500 USD in $YGG, and Superteam membership. 

The Third Prize offers $500 USDC. Special Awards totaling $1,000 USDC will be distributed among four recipients, each receiving $250 USDC.
