TONX, the SuperApp platform that empowers builders to explore the Web3 economy, has partnered with Bitlabs, a leader in blockchain security auditing, to announce the launch of TON's inaugural Capture The Flag (CTF) Challenge. This event is powered by TON, TonBit, and TONX. TonBit, a sub-brand of BitsLab and a key player in the TON ecosystem, provides essential security expertise.

Specializing in infrastructure development and security audits for emerging blockchain ecosystems, BitsLab is the driving force behind Scalebit and Movebit. The company has delivered blockchain security audit solutions for over 400 projects globally, protecting assets worth around $800 million and serving more than 2 million users. Following their achievements in the Move and BTC ecosystems, BitsLab is now setting its sights on the fast-growing TON ecosystem.

The partnership between TONX and BitsLab will be highlighted by a two-day Capture The Flag (CTF) event, sponsored and organized by TON, TonBit, and TONX. This CTF invites security researchers to test their skills using FunC and Tact programming languages. Participants will earn "flags," which are secret strings that can be exchanged for points, with higher scores leading to better rankings. In addition to the main TonBit TonCTF competition, beginner tasks will be available for those new to CTFs. The event will be recorded, narrated, and presented online for wider accessibility.

Since their launch, Capture The Flag (CTF) events have attracted over 750 teams from around the world. The next competition will be held on September 14-15, 2024. CTF competitions in the cybersecurity realm involve solving a range of computer security puzzles, including challenges related to reverse-engineering, memory corruption, cryptography, and web technologies.
