Tribally has been pushing the boundaries for Web3 gaming since its launch, and now it’s taking things a step further. This month, Play-to-Earn 2.0 is finally open to gamers in the Tribally ecosystem.

If you’re already familiar with the Play-to-Earn concept, Tribally takes it to a whole new level. Gamers now have new and exciting ways to earn rewards by playing games, placing bets, and racking up points. The idea behind Play-to-Earn 2.0 is simple: gamers challenge each other to head-to-head battles, and the winner gets rewarded with $TRIBAL.

What’s cool about this update is that each upcoming challenge is visible to the whole community and other players can place wagers on who is likely to win the challenge. If they bet on the right player, they get a share of the reward. Meanwhile, the more bets placed, the bigger the reward earned by the winner.

It’s a win-win for everyone involved whether you’re competing or just betting on your favorite player. Tribally eventually plans to expand these challenges to include more games, and possibly even some popular Web2 titles, which would make the platform more accessible to even more gamers worldwide.

Play-to-Airdrop

Tribally recently held a Play-to-Airdrop campaign from August 27 to September 2, inviting gamers to stack points by completing various tasks. The more points earned, the higher you’d get to climb on the leaderboard, which ultimately determines the size of your token airdrop.

The prize pool for the Play-to-Airdrop event was a total of 24 million $TRIBAL, with a whopping 420,069 $TRIBAL up for grabs for the top player. Players earned points by completing quests across 31 partnered games, including Wildforest, Apeiron, Axie Infinity, Pixels, Sky Smash, and The Machines Arena. To earn points, players chose from different tasks, such as connecting their socials, completing quests and challenges, owning a Battle Pass and Tiki NFTs, collecting gaming skins, and completing gaming milestones.

For instance, holding Wild Forest assets and Lord NFTs gave exclusive access to bonus points. You could earn 50 bonus points for holding at least one non-staked Lord, 100 bonus points for holding at least one staked Lord, 10 bonus points for holding at least one Unit, and 20 bonus points for holding at least one Skin.

The rewards are set to be distributed on-chain, on Base, via players’ Coinbase Smart Wallets. True to the campaign’s slogan, "No one is leaving empty-handed,” all players could earn $TRIBAL from different earning mechanics throughout the campaign, even without finishing in the top 4,000. The platform guaranteed it would carefully review the results to disqualify any attempts at cheating or breaching the terms and conditions of the airdrop before rewards are paid out.

In addition to challenges, games, and wagers, Tribally also encouraged creators to create Tribally content for the chance to win 10,000 $TRIBAL and a 24-hour social boost for their profiles.

So far, Tribally’s P2A and Play-to-Earn initiatives have been a huge success. It has successfully concluded its first Apeiron challenge. It has also seen a lot of traction around Axie Infinity, with over a million free wagers placed within a week. This shows that users are really enjoying the community experience.

Unlike the previous era of play-to-earn gaming, this time around, players can do more than monetize their skills and time. Gameplay only gets more exciting, and games are more interconnected through more advanced interoperability. Tribally is leading the charge, combining fun, competition, and real earning potential while bringing gamers together in a way that feels fresh and exciting. In fact, some of the most successful onchain games have experienced very successful growth campaigns with Tribally, including Duet Monsters, Axie Infinity, and Duet Monsters.

Tribally’s Play-to-Earn 2.0 is geared up to revolutionize the future of sustainable Web3 gaming where real entertainment, genuine community interactions, and sustainable rewards go hand-in-hand. Whether you’re jumping into head-to-head battles or betting on your favorite players, there’s always something to keep you engaged. Overall, it’s an exciting time for the GameFi community, with lots of developments and announcements to come.

The good news is that Tribally is bringing its unique blend of Web3 gaming and community-driven experiences to the Philippines. Sign up with the code "BITSKWELA" and be a part of the gaming revolution!
