Raine Laluna - Web3 Cebu

Raine Laluna is the co-founder and lead of Web3 Cebu, as well as the marketing lead of Filipinas NFT. Starting off without any background or knowledge about Web3, she took a deep dive into it by searching for Web3 opportunities in Luzon. After years of building her foundation within Web3, Raine aimed to cultivate the Web3 communities of Cebu by nurturing a space where everyone of all backgrounds and demographics are able to learn and have an opportunity in Web3.

Raine is also one of the pioneer members of Superteam Philippines. Her involvement with the Superteam, she is able to amplify her reach and strengthen the community by spearheading monthly Solana Ecosystem Calls in Cebu. She expressed in a LinkedIn post on how the collective efforts of Web3 leaders across Visayas has seen exponential growth in the adoption and interest in Web3, Cryptocurrency, and Blockchain in their respective provinces.

Jeff Caceres - Web3 Bacolod

Known as NomadFury, Jeff wears multiple hats in the Web3 space. He is a content creator, educator, speaker, and event organizer. Jeff has been in the Web3 space since 2018 as he relentlessly advocates for the positive real use cases and benefits of crypto and Web3 in various universities in the Visayas region. He had a sense of obligation to empower Web3 in his community as he felt that Visayas has been behind Web3 adoption.

As the founder of Web3 Lounge and co-founder of Web3 Bacolod, he doesn’t just  solely focus on his community in Bacolod but continues to stay in touch with Web3 communities all over Visayas. Jeff’s goal is to gain further reach to more people to know about Web3 and crypto. He believes that the growth of the Visayas community will continue to grow and thrive at a rapid pace as Jeff relentlessly continues to onboard more Web2 people into Web3.

Joerald Pepito - Web3 San Carlos

Joerald is the Founder of The Cryptology Academy and co-founder of Web3 San Carlos. He is a blockchain and Web3 writer, researcher, market analyst, and now a business developer for a startup Web3 project. As a passionate Web3 enthusiast, his drive to nurture his community is to collectively push the boundaries of his community’s potential and to provide unique opportunities in Web3. His goal for the communities  he is involved in is to build a supportive network where people can explore new concepts, to get exposed with these emerging technologies, and ultimately contribute to the advancement of the Web3 ecosystem.

Joerald aims to focus on educational awareness, collaboration among talents, and community building to support each other’s specific endeavors. They aim to become the go-to community in San Carlos for any Web3 and Blockchain initiatives to advance the city in this technological pursuit.

Charles Steven Dianson Macay - Web3 Dumaguete

Charles is the lead of Web3 Dumageute that started his journey into Web3 through his interest in Web3 Business Development and marketing for GameFi projects. As a personal crusade, Web3 represents the future and inevitability of its integration into everyone’s daily lives. As Web3 was a complex concept for those around him, his initial efforts to push for Web3 awareness has been a tedious one,

However, his efforts in building for Web3 in Dumaguete allowed him to connect with fellow Web3 leaders and crypto enthusiasts which gave him the drive to build Web3 in his community further. His goal for Web3 Dumaguete is to grow into an inclusive and collaborative community where individuals from diverse backgrounds come together to learn from one another and access unique opportunities not available elsewhere.

Ryan Chris Ariego - Web3 Iloilo

Ryan is an NFT enthusiast that has been a Graphic Artist for an NFT based in California since 2021. He is the lead of Web3 Iloilo and has been a leader in Visayas for Web3 with the guidance of Jeff Caceres, the lead of Web3 Bacolod.  His realization to build the community in Iloilo came after attending the Philippine Blockchain Week of 2022. He realized that Iloilo and the rest of Visayas has been behind in the current trends of technology, including Web3. As the people around his hometown have been unaware due to the lack of resources, he has initiated efforts to create events for both Web3 enthusiasts and Web3 curious-individuals for education, connections, and opportunities.

His goal is to create a solid, safe, and unified community in Iloilo and the whole Visayas through education and a smooth transition for those who are accustomed to Web2, into Web3. He believes that the Philippines has the potential to be the Blockchain Capital of Asia which he continuously works to materialize his vision, starting with Web3 Iloilo.
