Since the invention of the wheel, technology has come a long way contributing to fulfilling the needs of society. One of the needs that technology has aided in is connecting different people through social media. Dating apps such as Tinder and Bumble is a Web2 innovation that allows people to explore their romantic options with potential partners. A Web3 alternative that is building to contribute to matchmaking is Web3ality, an NFT project centered around finding love.

Web3ality, co-founded by Romelia Manzano, creates shows that are entertaining and educational by featuring projects and individuals in the web3 space. They aim to onboard non-web3 audiences through entertainment

Why the need for Web3? The lack of entertainment in Web3, specifically romance, is a gap that looks to be solved by bringing some excitement to the internet's newest frontier. This show is also part of a bigger plan for a reality show in the digital world.

The project starts off by minting your very first Web3ality NFT, allowing you to have a presence on the platform through a unique identifier. Each NFT will then have the opportunity to have allocated blind dates every week.

How does Web3ality matchmake its users? 

Questionnaire: Users will fill a questionnaire out, helping the platform properly matchmake two people.

Profile Creation: Once users fill the questionnaire out, they are able to curate their profile to their liking.

AI Matchmaking: Based on the information users provided in the questionnaire, cutting-edge AI technology will then carefully curate a potential partner for them.

Based on user’s preference, compatibility, and AI analysis, Web3iality is able to tailor user algorithms to matchmake them to the best of its abilities. Once users are paired, they then go to a virtual blind date every Saturdays and Sundays starting 10am EST.

Currently, Web3ality is open and live for minting for those interested to participate. The NFTs are segregated between male and female participants, adding some uniqueness to the NFTs. The first episode for virtual dates starts on September 21st.
